(before I get started, these were meant to look like balls but judging by the fact that I am by no means a chef/cook, they came out looking like battered balls)
Hello readers!
Sundays for my family are usually spent lounging about and relaxing altogether. We eat a big lunch then the rest of the day we switch to couch potato mode in it's literal sense : no e-mails are answered, minimal phone calls and a whole lot of Zzzzz's. Today I woke up quite early (something which I don't normally do on a Sunday) and decided to make a little treat for my family. The first thought that came to mind was cake pops. But alas, as you will probably tell from the pictures down below, that didn't happen. Well technically, I made cake pops until they started sliding down the stick.
The balls are very simple to make. Just grab some plain biscuits (I used digestive), some condensed milk and honey, mix everything together, try to roll them into small balls and let everything set in the fridge. After they are set comes the fun part : Nutella & Betty.
Then to sprinkle on top :
Now, with your trusty tools (spatula and teaspoon) all you've got to do is to coat them in either nutella, cream or both. In other words : make a huge mess, lick your fingers and utensils clean and eat cream and nutella to the point where you feel a little sick and guilty at the same time. Sprinkle some toppings of your choice, plop them onto a wooden stick, stick the wooden stick into a piece of jablo and you're done! Quite simple if you ask me :)
And there they are, standing in all their glory! And please excuse my poor skills when it comes to coating and all of that stuff. I tried my very best!
And now, I shall bid you farewell and buon appetit. Happy eating!
